About the course

A Product Owner has the ultimate responsibility for production and its development. Product owner is one of the most difficult and critical roles in Scrum and as a participant you will learn to be a successful product owner.

The course will give you the feeling of Scrum and how to work as a product owner. The course is only held by course leaders who are certified by the Scrum Alliance (Certified Scrum Trainer), which requires many years of experience as both course leaders and practitioners of Scrum in practice.

The course consists of exercises, case studies and examples used to illustrate the values, principles and practices that are useful to a product owner. The course keeps a high pace, is interactive and mixes theory, discussions and exercises. Be prepared to work hard.

Target group

The course is aimed at future product owners and others who need good knowledge of how product ownership in Scrum works, e.g. project managers, clients, product managers and managers. You who work in, or are on your way to, a role as product owner for one or more Scrum teams, but it also suits you who are not product owners but want to learn more about agile requirements work.

Previous knowledge

Over the years, we have noticed that those who get the most out of the course are those who have acquired the basic knowledge of Scrum even before the course. We, therefore, recommend that you have read a book about Scrum before the course, or (if you have less time left over) at least read through The Scrum Guide.

Arne is a Certified Scrum Trainer, Management 3.0 Licensed Facilitator and Training from the Back of the Room Certified Trainer.

Arne has a broad background in Agile software development and especially Scrum. He is a veteran consultant and business developer in the Scandinavian IT industry with additional global experience in Europe and Asia. Arne has extensive experience of working in management teams and combining people, processes and products to successfully build and implement long-term strategies.

For more than 20 years, Arne has helped industry leaders such as Ericsson, ABB, Telenor, Telia, Volvo and Saab. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and former Certified Management 3.0 Facilitator and has trained thousands of developers and managers in agile values, principles and methods. Radisson Blu Hotel ligger i centrala Malmö med bara gångavstånd till Centralstationen och närhet till parkering för dig som kör. Hotellet har stora lokaler så att avstånd kan hållas.

Vi planerar att hålla kursen på plats i Malmö, men under rådande omständigheter vet vi inte om det är möjligt, men målet är att kunna köra kursen fysiskt. Beroende på hur läget ser ut i vår så finns chansen att den kommer ändras och bli online istället. Våra kurser är i samma prisklass oavsett om de körs online eller på plats.
